I know I’m a little late to the dance, posting a Christmas song in January, but I’d love to get a chance to share this with you! Last year, a family friend asked for an arrangement of “Pat-A-Pan.” This year, he requested a rendition of “Little Drummer Boy.” I hope you enjoy it!
Hey, there, What have you been up to this week? Anna and I wrote a pretty silly little ditty last week, and I wanted to share it with you! We named it “Rush” and took a crazy photo of Anna for the album cover. I hope you enjoy it! Rush By Anna and Ellie Cummins Lyrics: I feel a rush of emotion When I see that prairie grass motion […]
Photo by Chad Madden on Unsplash Hi, All! A family friend asked us to do our own arrangement of his favorite Christmas song, “Pat-A-Pan.” (Thank you, Mr. Sunny!) He sent us a fantastic microphone and we set to work! Here’s our arrangement of the song, with Dad on piano and electric guitar, Micah on the penny whistle, and Kyle (a drummer programmed in GarageBand) on drums. 😀 I hope you like it!
Howdy, Folks, I talked last week about the “Christmas Showcase” we got to have at our house. This week, I’m posting another song from it! Anna did a fantastic job learning the lyrics and melody for “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree.” She’s a natural! It was super cool getting to perform our song and see how the practice paid off. I’d love for you to take a listen! Merry Christmas!

We practiced some fun songs for a “Christmas Showcase,” and decided that since we had them ready to go, we’d video them! (If you’d like to see Micah’s music video, head here.) I hope you like it! Have a wonderful week.
Hello, there! I’d love to share a song with you that’s been floating around in my head this week. The melody is gorgeous, even if the song is a touch melancholy. I hope you enjoy! How has your week gone?
Hello, How has your week been going? I’d love to share a song with you that I’ve only recently discovered (thanks, Mom and Dad!). It’s called, “If You Want Me To” by Ginny Owens. The song is jazz- and folk-sounding, and the lyrics are full of deep thoughts and wonderful reminders. I hope it encourages you. Thanks,
Hello! How are you? We’re in Hungry Horse, Montana. This morning, we went horseback riding on a trail ride. (I found the ride rather ironic, because my horse, Waylon, kept eating along the way. Get it — Hungry Horse?) 😀 It was a wonderful experience. I would love to share a song I wrote with you, called “Through The Door.” It was written in the camper using Micah’s guitar, and […]
