A Musical Conglomeration {Part I}

A Musical Conglomeration {Part I}

Hello, Everyone!

How are you?

It’s looking like our house has a definite contract, and the signing date is set for April 25 (as of right now).

I know it was God’s doing that our house sold so quickly. He has always taken care of us, and I have no doubt that He will continue to do so!

I am just thrilled about the move, but I’m also going to miss so much of New England! Saying goodbye to dear friends, lovely weather, and the city of Boston will be rather unhappy. 🙁

Anna was lamenting the thought of saying goodbye to her music teacher, and Mom told her that she might just need to have a good cry. Anna said, “Okay,” paused a second, then asked, “now, or later?”

Needless to say, we cracked up. 😛

Since this post is called “A Musical Conglomeration,” I will now explain the music.

I wrote these music tracks for Anna’s 8th birthday, for her to write songs over.

I used Garageband, and all of the instruments you hear (except the drums, which are a track) are actually played by my piano!

Feel absolutely free to right your own lyrics and songs to these tracks. (And, if you’d like to share, I’m all ears!)

Melancholy Melody

What do you think about the soundtracks? Which one do you like best?

Bye for now,
Ellie 🙂

  1. Melancholy –my favorite What a great idea creating these for Anna to use when writing her own lyrics. Love you. G’ma

    1. Thank you, Grandma! Yes, Anna has got quite the voice and I think the gift was a good choice! (Haha, what do you think of my rhyme?) Anna is constantly whistling, singing in a very loud voice, or walking in circles creating her next imaginary game. I love it! 😀 I’m excited to see you! 😛

  2. Lovely music, Ellie! 🎶 And we’re sorry that you’ll be leaving. 😩 But there’s always skype! 😁

    1. Thanks, Mrs. Fab! I will miss you guys, and I certainly hope that Gracie and I can continue Skyping. I love being able to talk with her, even if we’re far away! 🙂

  3. Can’t wait to see you, also! It’s only a week away!! Your rhyming (is that a word?) comes naturally. It was so cute about Anna’s little cry but seriously, I think that’s good advice. Sometimes it just takes a good cry to set us back up straight! Love you so much. G’ma

  4. I love both of these Ellie! Nice alliteration in the titles 😉 I’ll miss you so much when you move!! 🙁
