"Little Drummer Boy" - An Original Arrangement

“Little Drummer Boy” – An Original Arrangement

Hello, All!

Happy 2019! I’m so excited for the year to come, and I’m thankful for the amazing year that my family had in 2018. I’m truly blessed! What’s your favorite memory from the past year?

I know I’m a little late to the dance, posting a Christmas song in January, but I’d love to get a chance to share it with you! (I’m hoping this is at least a little better than sharing it in August.)

Last year, our family friend Mr. Sunny asked for an arrangement of “Pat-A-Pan.” This year, he requested a rendition of “Carol of the Drums,” also known as “Little Drummer Boy.” (He sent me some pretty sweet headphones as payment! Thank you, Mr. Sunny!)

Dad helped me brainstorm some great ideas for the arrangement, and I went for a unique, untraditional approach.

I hope you enjoy it!

  1. I loved that arrangement. So creative! Can you tell me who is singing on that arrangement? Is it you guys? Keep up the good work. You are so talented!

We have had such a crazy year in 2018 that I haven’t read a book since I read your Leona book. I’m so embarrassed that I started Day of Dust when I first got it – then things just got crazy and I haven’t been able to settle down and read anything – even my magazines are piled up in a stack.

I promise I will start it soon and give you a review! I’m sure it will be really good!

I hope all is well with your family. Love you all a big red barnful!

    1. Hi, Mrs. Pat!

Thank you a ton! I’m stoked you like it. The vocals in the song are me, stacked! It’s pretty funny getting to sing harmony with yourself! 😀

2018 WAS crazy! I have a feeling that 2019 is going to be even more epic for all of us, so no pressure. I’m so glad we got to see you guys a couple summers ago, and I just love you guys so much.

I hope you have a wonderful new year!

      Love you muchly,
      Ellie
