I made supper last night – it was a lot of fun!!! I started in the early afternoon to make home-made biscuits. I doubled the recipe and they turned out great. They were amazingly fast, easy, and even more delicious!!! I got the recipe from an America’s Test Kitchen cookbook. After the biscuits, I took a break until 4:30.
At 4:30, I started on the home-fries while Mom fried the bacon (thanks, Mom). The home-fries turned out nice and crispy – another America’s Test Kitchen keeper! We did the eggs last to keep them warm. Supper turned out well, and Dad said I could cook for him any time. The great thing about doubling the biscuit recipe was having home-made biscuits with jam and honey for breakfast this morning!
